Details:

Intent:
    Identify all locations stone will be used on the building. Once identified, we will identify what size is used, the weight, and other variables that will affect the ultimate price such as shipping.

Benefit:
    Able to expedite communications between the field and the factory. It enables an unbroken chain of events effecting the budget; from the customers perspective how you treat his money is beneficial to him as long as he can see the value in it.

Examples:
    One example: “See your total dollar amount. But I made a notation that the additional color would be more costly, but I did not include it in the bid.” Another example: “We only counted 48 units, now because of this additional plan of adding two more units we’ll have to do a change order.” Or “we didn’t have these original plan pages when we originally quoted this, that will constitute a change order.”
